Paris, VA

Established on 60 acres in 1810, Revolutionary War soldier Peter Glascock founded this little village on the Winchester Pike (Rtes. 50 and 759) and named it Paris in honor of French General Lafayette. Glascock also called his home La Grange after Lafayette’s native hometown. Willard Scott, the famous weatherman, makes his home in the village of Paris, comprised of the Ashby Inn, a church, a store and several restored old homes.
