Saturday night Polo at Great Meadow (http://www.greatmeadowpoloclub.com) has quickly become a mainstay event and a unique source of entertainment for the Virginia Hunt Country community. The Grey Horse Inn, Destination Polo and Polo Great Meadow Club invite you to join a large yet diverse spectator audience every Saturday night from June 1 to September 15.

The Grey Horse Inn offers the following weekend package (Friday and Saturday) for your consideration: 

Friday Night in The Plains & Sunset Trial Ride

Arrive Friday evening to a glass of wine and then take a 1 ½ hour romantic trail ride in the Blue Ridge Mountains while enjoying one the Piedmonts beautiful sunsets. After your ride, we will make Dinner Reservations for you at one of The Plains fine dining restaurants including: The Rail Stop; or Girasole (Northern Italian); or Frogs and Friends (French Provincial) in The Plains.

Saturday Day in Hunt Country

• Start with a full Country Gourmet Breakfasts at the Inn;
• Tour the many vineyards of Virginia Wine Country (Directions, recommendations, free wine tasting passes and wine discounts to eight participating wineries and we’ll pack a lunch if you’d like; or
• Shop and Antique in Middleburg & Warrenton; or
• Experience the thrill of polo firsthand with a polo lesson at Destination Polo, or
• Take a driving Tour of Skyline Drive (Shenandoah National Park); or
• Explore Virginia’s Northern Piedmont -- Special directions to Winchester, Warrenton, Berryville, Paris;

Saturday Day Night Twilight Polo at Great Meadow

• We’ll provide you with passes & parking tickets that include your entrance fee;
• A tailgate dinner for two from The Plains own Farm Store and a bottle of wine;
• Souvenir Polo Program; and
• Wake up Sunday morning to another Country Gourmet Breakfast on the Inn’s balcony overlooking world class gardens.

The weekend package includes room for 2 nights (based on availability), gourmet breakfast on Saturday and Sunday, Tailgate dinner Saturday night, VIP passes to Saturday Twilight Polo. Wine tour passes and discounts, directions, and advice. Picnic lunch on Saturday is $15.00 per person. Friday dinner is not included in the price of the package. Total price is $450 plus taxes. Add $150 per couple for Sunset Trail Ride.

Saturday night package only includes room for Saturday night, wine passes, picnic dinner for two, VIP Polo passes and Sunday gourmet breakfast. Price for only Saturday night is $280. Choice of room is based on availability add $20 for King George room. Add $50 per person for trail ride. Both packages are based on double occupancy and subject to availability.
